The five star Pädaste Manor acquired a fine addition to their team with Mercedes Merimaa taking up a new position as Director of Wild Produce. Mercedes is a renowned horticulturist & bio dynamics expert and will act as consultant for Pädaste Manor’s ongoing research of the Nordic Islands' Cuisine. She will also coach staff in the fine dining Restaurant Alexander on all matters regarding wild produce which can be found on Muhu Island - diners at Alexander have already enjoyed the first results of the co-operation with Mercedes. 
 

University lecturer Mercedes Merimaa is the author of a book on using wild plants for treatment and gastronomic purposes. ‘All you have to do is open your eyes - just accept that nature has given us riches beyond our everyday knowledge’ says Merimaa.
