The launch of the Tatler Spa Guide is always a much anticipated event - the publication has established itself as a leader amongst Spa Supplements and is a quintessential reference for the constantly evolving Spa and Wellbeing sector worldwide. The 2012 Spa Guide was launched on 3 October at the Connaught Hotel in London, attended by Spa specialists, managers, proprietors and representatives of the World’s 50 finest Spas, Health Retreats and Detox Centres.
This year the Tatler Spa Guide presents just 50 establishments worldwide, a marked departure from the previous 101 listings and a clear message by the Tatler editorial team that the focus is on the best of the best. Having won the 2011 Tatler Award for ‘Hardcore Turnaround’ last year, the Health Retreat Parkhotel Igls has this year consolidated its position as Austria’s star amongst the Mayr Retreats and endorses their fresh thinking and the tailor made approach as the ‘Next Generation Mayr’.
Two years ago the Parkhotel Igls saw fundamental renovation and extension, providing extraordinary new accommodation, spacious and light filled public areas, state of the art treatment rooms as well as a superb medical and cosmetic centre. The Modern Mayr Medicine has found a solid new base at Parkhotel Igls with fabulous facilities and exclusive treatment methods.
Since reopening in October 2009 Parkhotel Igls has received numerous awards and recognitions and is now widely considered as Central Europe’s most competent Health Retreat of its kind. The 2011 Tatler Trophy was very beneficial in increasing market awareness of Parkhotel Igls amongst British and international clients, we are certain that this years’ listing amongst Tatler’s top 50 is an endorsement for all clients who regard a visit to a Health Resort as a necessity, but who are also looking for a certain amount of indulgence.
With many direct flights to Innsbruck and the Parkhotel being just 20mins from Innsbruck airport – the ultimate feel good factor is just a few hours away.
